Ask Away Friday

Hi I don't have a partner for this week, so I thought I would just let you know a little bit about myself anyway.
1)   Where do you live?
I live in Plumstead which is in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town in South Africa.
2)   What is the weather like there right now?
The weather is sitting at temperature are sitting at about 36 degree's celsius, which is way to hot for me.
3)   What hobbies do you have?
I do quite a few hobbies. I love to read and read virtually anything. I do decoupage, fabric painting, embroidery, mainly cross stitch, sewing of clothes, I make my own cards by hand, and with computer.
4)   What do you do?
My husband and I are both retired, but run a copmpany that makes craft things, like stencils and cutouts etc, and small machines.
5)   What are you doing for Christmas?
This year we are treating ourselves and going out to Backsberg Wine farm for the day and festivities.
6)    What is your favourite main course?
I would have to say Lamb spit roast with Christmas vegetables.
7)     What is your favourite desert?
That would have to be sticky toffee puding.
8)     What is your favourite city in the world?
I would have to say Venice.
9)     When did you get married?
Well I got married only 8 years ago and I can say that my husband Les makes me happier every day, and I seem to fall more in love with him every day.
10)   What don't you like about yourself?
Well I have a pretty nasty temper, but it takes a lot to make me loose it. In fact I rarely loose it ,I usually run off before I get anywhere near doing so.

  1. Hi Anne at last I've found your blog, I've often tried to return your visits and coments, but once it goes to google+ anything 'clickable' goes to other sites. Glad you like the freebies although you said you where following (in everyway you could) it hasn't shown up yet. (that should give me a link!) Have a great crafty week!

sorry that I have taken so long to answer you, but my reply button disappeared, thank goodness it is now fixed.
I want to say thank you for visiting my blog, and especially as it took so much trouble, it must be something to do with the South African internet, I will go back and try and follow again, Thank you so much for everything.
I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and are having a nice restful day today.
      Love and best wishes.

  2. Way to go Anne! I love your questions and your answers! Christmas in South Africa sounds like a good time to me. As I write this, it is snowing here in New England- we're supposed to get 8-12 inches tonight so we'll have a white Christmas for sure!
